Improving my Chef skills

Last year I went on a Pheasant and Game Cookery course at The Gables School of Cookery, Falfield, South Gloucestershire.

I was going to improve my funghi foraging skills, but the dry weather meant that there weren’t enough mushrooms to fill a small basket for one person let alone a group of us, so the weekend was postponed. This year, I am too busy!

So, I have looked in to courses at the Asburton Cookery School in South Devon.http://www.ashburtoncookeryschool.co.uk/

Of particular interest are general chef courses, soups and fish and maybe butchering.
